Benjamin Philip from TEESHOPPEN
Entrepreneur Benjamin Philip is the owner of TEESHOPPEN
Who owns TEESHOPPEN?
The founder and owner of TEESHOPPEN is Benjamin Philip. He is 28 years old and lives in Aalborg with his girlfriend and their dog, Bertram. He founded TEESHOPPEN six years ago and remains the owner of the business to this day. For him, it was always on the cards that he would start his own business, preferably with a strong team behind him. The fact that it ended up being commercial products was no mere coincidence.
The story of TEESHOPPEN
If you ask the founder and owner of TEESHOPPEN how it all began six years ago, he’ll tell you it started with some prints on a T-shirt. Benjamin Philip actually had a clothing brand where he sold T-shirts with various prints, but to afford the cost of printing on the T-shirts, he had to sell plain T-shirts. This turned out to be good business, and that’s how TEESHOPPEN began – a business that now offers much more than just plain T-shirts.
Today, TEESHOPPEN has over 5,000 products in its online shop as well as a high-street shop
TEESHOPPEN’s core customer
If you ask the owner of TEESHOPPEN, he’ll tell you that the core customer is men and women aged between 18 and 55 – a customer group that isn’t afraid to pay a fair price for good-quality products. It is also important to the owner of TEESHOPPEN that he and his team are able to effectively cater to the many different target groups. Most importantly, however, the owner believes in letting customers embark on their own shopping journey when they visit TEESHOPPEN’s website. The website is deliberately very neutral, as customers are meant to define their own style. For him, it is just as much about providing his customers with exactly the right service, and for Benjamin Philip, it is the way in which the product is sold and the customer is treated that is more unique than the product itself in stock.
TEESHOPPEN’s future
TEESHOPPEN’s brand identity is constantly evolving – just as the owner, the business and the staff are.
TEESHOPPEN’s story and mission statement were the same six years ago as they are today, if you ask the owner of TEESHOPPEN: We want to prove that price and quality do not always go hand in hand.
Donations to various organisations

Benjamin Philip’s own words:
“At TEESHOPPEN, our dream is to become the Danes’ favourite place to buy their trousers and T-shirts – both online and in our physical shop. Our top boss – and therefore TEESHOPPEN’s guiding principle – is our customers and everyone who supports us every day. The best thing I can think of is hearing that a customer is happy with the product they’ve bought and the service we’ve provided. Like everyone else, we make mistakes too, and for us it’s absolutely crucial that we take the right responsibility and rectify the mistake as quickly as possible. I’m very happy and grateful for the loyalty we’ve experienced from our customers.''
